Don Letts tells the story of the Blues Dance or Jamaican private club in Britain. Crowds gathered to listen and dance to heavy bass lines of reggae, pumped out from huge speakers. The first wave of West Indian immigrants set up informal basement parties in West London, but the phenomenon would later gain prominence across the UK. Contributors include Linton Kwesi Johnson, Vivien Goldman, Jazzie B, King Tubby, Trevor Sax, Daddy G, Ali Campbell, Caroline Coon, Lenny Henry and Tippa Irie. www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/musicfeature/pip/0let8/If anyone can rip this I would be absolutely delighted

4 minutes left on the download. Should only take 5 minutes to upload it. I use to be able to record 'what you hear' on my old system through the sound card but Vista isn't compatible with it Now i use a program called Orbit Downloader and i can grab flash video, streaming music etc. Sometimes it can take a while to find the correct stream as they're not always labelled informatively...hope i got the right file
