I've needed a couple of days to get over this film. Saw it with Mrs Avalanche on Sunday and whilst clearly a good film, I'm not sure I would watch it again unlike it's companion peace, Twenty Four Hour Party People. Don't let this put you off - it's great work.
Not being into lyrics and although I worship the band, I never really realised how fucked up he was - he did actually mean it.. Now reading the book and one thing that is slowly being realised is that, as well as beiing very troubled man, those around him, particulary his wife, suffered also.
